The ANINE BING 2022 Chelsea in Bloom installation is inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and American energy. Keeping in mind this year’s theme of “British Icons,” Great Britain’s National Flower, the rose, was used throughout the installation to represent the brand’s timeless approach to fashion. The bespoke installation spans across the facade of the storefront, using all white tea roses and a variety of foliage to add texture and depth. The contemporary, minimal and whimsical approach echoes the brand’s classic, yet modern style. Blooming Haus helped bring the vision to life through a beautiful floral display which also incorporates sustainable practices including 100% compostable materials for building and composting 100% of perishable materials that cannot be repurposed.

As a leading ethical and sustainable fashion brand, Aspiga wanted to showcase the best of British flowers, and forward-looking initiatives such as rewilding, repurposing and repairing. In their business, every decision they make is geared toward minimising the impact we have on the planet. From the materials they use to the packaging they choose; they do everything they can to reduce their environmental footprint and sustain our future. Likewise with their Chelsea in Bloom design concept, they have utilised reusable mechanics, water sources, pre-used chicken wire, and moss to minimise the environmental impact of their designs.
For the British Icons theme, Aspiga wanted to celebrate how a true British Icon, David Attenborough, is leading the charge on rewilding Britain and encouraging people to grow more flowers to help keep our bees alive. Their external archway reflects a stunning summer English garden, where large creeping trellises of British blooms adorn homes across the country, and members of the public will hopefully see aspects of their own gardens in Aspiga’s designs. Their internal meadows replicate the delicate, wild meadow flowers seen and enjoyed across the UK every year. They have chosen a bright, cheerful palette in celebration of Her Majesty’s Jubilee, to mirror the joy felt in the UK this summer.
With history weaved through the walls of Beaverbrook Town House, the brand is centred around an iconic British figure: Lord Beaverbrook. A kingmaker, powerbroker (and sometime mischief maker), Lord Beaverbrook was a consummate politician, publicist of boundless energy, and great friend of Winston Churchill. Previous owner of their sister property down in Surrey, Beaverbrook Estate from 1910 until his death in 1964, his newspapers, the Daily Express and Sunday Express, could make or break almost anyone, and he hosted the great and the good during his time there. The ethos of Lord Beaverbrook is epitomised in their iconic Spitfire emblem. As wartime Minister of Aircraft Production, Beaverbrook famously trebled the production of Spitfires, enabling Britain to snatch victory from the jaws of certain defeat in the pivotal Battle of Britain. Embracing their brand’s history, Rob van Helden will bring the spitfire emblem to life through flora and fauna outside the front of Beaverbrook Town House.
Beaverbrook Townhouse will be offering a special Chelsea in Bloom cocktail for the week , The Flowering Townhouse! A gin-based cocktail, with melon, greengage, rose, hibiscus and topped with prosecco.

For Astrid & Miyu’s first ever Chelsea in Bloom participation, the brand is partnering with Grape & Fig, the UK’s popular flower and grazing company, to create a bespoke floral design centred around London’s historic tube map. This isn’t the first time the brands are collaborating together – they are long-standing brand partners in providing themed florals for campaigns, events and store fronts. From the very beginning, Grape & Fig have included floristry in their grazing displays and specialise in add-on signature hand-tied bouquets, bespoke floristry design and installations.
To follow the 2022 Chelsea in Bloom theme, ‘British Icons’, A&M’s concept was inspired by the London Underground tube map. The simplified map design was the first of its kind, and unarguably one of the greatest and iconic artworks in British design history. Astrid & Miyu resonated with this and have taken their own spin, drawing parallels from their own network of stores across London as a nod towards the map theme. You’ll find vinyl detailing mirroring the stops of the brand’s own stores across tube locations, a playful photo moment that includes a recycled acrylic tube sign, and an up-cycled vintage tube seat centring the outdoor display.
Made up of a varied mix of dried and fresh flowers, signature to Astrid & Miyu, the display was constructed using wire and timber materials and continues inside the store for a 360 experience.
During the week from 23rd – 29th May, A&M have an incredible range of customer evening events that will be available exclusively to their Kings Road store, including; embroidery, floral arranging & decorating your own plant pot workshops which you can access on Eventbrite here.

The Boodles Chelsea in Bloom 2022 installation is inspired by the most iconic British icon, The Queen. To also celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, the design concept is to create a cameo silhouette of the Queen in bold “royal” colours with a grass turf sash at the base displaying the British motto “Dieu et Mon Droit.” With regards to sustainability, Boodles will be using Agra Wool which is made from natural materials and completely biodegradable, replacing the plastic filled floral foam used in earlier years of Chelsea in Bloom displays. They will also only be using natural or recyclable materials elsewhere in the installation to reduce their impact on the environment. Furthermore, where possible Boodles try to donate remaining stock, for example, from last year’s Boodle’s Chelsea in Bloom installation and their Chelsea Flower Show installation they donated the healthy plants that remained after the clearing to two learning centre gardens.
In keeping with their brand ethos of using sustainable natural fibres Brora’s Tudor Rose, Daffodil, Shamrock and Scottish Thistle have all been delicately handcrafted using recyclable and biodegradable materials. They comprise of dried camomile, calendula, cornflower, rose petals and moss (to name a few!) held together by recycled aluminium wire. The dresses are made from their organic cotton, linen and silk, each reflecting the colours of these iconic flowers.
The surrounding display consists of an array of dried flowers, grasses and leaves, representing wild British meadows, and the diverse and beautiful nature to be found in our homeland. The natural beauty of the British Isles provides constant inspiration for the process at Brora, whether that’s designing their clothing collections or finding locations to photograph their campaigns.
This year for Chelsea in Bloom Brunello Cucinelli are bringing an iconic British garden theme to the front their store. Curated trees made with natural branches are framing the entrance way with classic garden florals and plants including flowering Begonia, Campanula, Digitalis, scented Lavender, accented with Hedera and textural Heuchera. The planting will be further enhanced with tall Delphinium, timeless Dianthus and foliage.
A country garden moment to enjoy in the busy city life of London!
The British icon Carlton Tower Jumeirah have chosen for inspiration is the infamous Banksy. Floristry is a dialogue between artistic expression and a natural, never ending, spectrum of colours and textures.
Constance Spry is an inspiration, a charismatic and independent personality putting her own stamp on the floristry industry.
Being inspired by such a strong and beautiful woman, Cloud Boutique would love to introduce their approach to floristry and find the relationship between art and nature, as they are as one together.

Water Lily… the meaning of this flower includes beauty, purity and hope; the beauty of this flower inspired the work of writers and artists for centuries.
The inspiration of the Gown was the Waterlilies Painting from Claude Monet from 1919. The Gown was once made in the late 90’s and re-bought/gifted back to ESCADA under Wolfgang Ley.
The window display gown is made out of pearls and crystals, and fully embroidered by hand in the Munich Atelier.

Jam Industries Chelsea in Bloom design is centred around the British icon Damien Hirst who requires little introduction being a globally renowned artist currently exhibiting across London with his new series of paintings and installations. Their display is an attempt at a living recreation of his recent painting series Cherry Blossoms using seasonal flowers arranged on upcycled tree branches and framed to replicate the original paintings. The flowers used will be home grown with tree branches, that would previously be discarded as dead, used as the focal point for the installation. Overall, the concept is a nod to the fragility of nature and beauty that Hirst balances in many of his pieces and they hope the icon himself would approve of their inspired display…
Jam Industries have decided to take on the challenge themselves rather than work with a florist on this occasion.
Jigsaw and Veevers Carter celebrate Chelsea in Bloom 2022.
For their King’s Road installation, Jigsaw have taken inspiration from the ultimate British icon, the weather.
With its unexpected sunny days and sudden downpours, British weather can be spontaneous and unpredictable, impacting our relationship with style and the way we dress.
Colourful umbrellas, falling dried helichrysum ‘rain’ and pools of fresh poppies and buttercups create a whimsical colour palette of bold yellow and orange florals to bring a slice of sunshine to the King’s Road, no matter the weather.
Established over 50 years ago in 1970, Jigsaw is incredibly proud of its British heritage. To celebrate this year’s theme, we have rediscovered some of their favourite icons from the Jigsaw archive which are displayed around the store for you to enjoy.
Jigsaw’s King’s Road boutique is adorned with intricate floral umbrellas, white cascading helichrysum ‘rain’ and pools of poppies and buttercups to create a tactile, whimsical colour palette. Celebrating the iconic market culture of Britain by creating a conceptual market stall with the most abundant and beautiful flowers you could imagine. Buckets of locally grown British blooms bursting with an abundant feel, (with optional vegetables) celebrating the true bounty of the British growing season.
The concept of Bread & Roses is based on the idea that life must be about more than just surviving but thriving instead. Earliest records of the phrase ‘bread and roses’ goes back to 200 AD. It has inspired poems, folk songs and even political slogans: In a speech over a hundred years ago Rose Schneiderman campaigning for women’s suffrage wrote:
‘What the women who labors wants is the right to live, not simply exist – the right to life as the rich woman has the right to life, and the sun and music and art. You have nothing the humblest worker has not a right to have also. The worker must have bread but she must have roses too’.
A market stall with food and flowers represents both these things, the necessities and the joys, the daily ‘bread’ and the ‘roses’.
From 30 May to 5 June for the Jubilee celebrations, spend £250 and receive £70 off at Kate Spade. Celebrating 70 symbolic years of the Queen’s reign so far.

The pandemic has been an extremely difficult time for everyone, especially the staff in the NHS. For the first time this year the team at KMC felt it would be uplifting to the staff and patients if they celebrated the NHS by putting on a flower display for Chelsea in Bloom. The team planting is inspired by British hedgerows from the walks they did during the pandemic and how re engaging in nature has helped many cope with stress levels during these difficult times. This display has been made entirely by the plants grown in the NHS staff gardens and allotments to demonstrate that you do not need to spend a fortune, be an expert or buy cut flowers that have grown abroad to have a beautiful display. Growing your own is the most sustainable form of floristry.
For staff that do not have gardens KMC have done group planting sessions growing corns and bulbs in their top floor conference room that they have converted partly into a greenhouse. This has helped boost the teams moral and make gardening more accessible. They are aiming to stick to the colour scheme to complement the NHS symbol in blue, white and purple. However, as they are solely reliant on what is in flower at the time grown by their staff there will be some flexibility with the planting scheme as growing the flowers locally by staff is more important than stringent plant scheme.
Knightsbridge Medical Centre are inviting the public to participate by giving them a handwritten note or drawing about the NHS which the team will laminate and put in their display.

Throughout the design you will notice their take on the classic British colour palette with raspberry reds, cornflower blues, and fresh whites to perfectly mirror their collection. LK Bennett have chosen potted plants for sustainability and longevity, as well as fresh roses and delphiniums, and dried limonium, grasses and seed pods, to help give their design a natural, organic feel, almost as if it’s grown in situ.

But over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, their talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together.’ Metro Bank feel that they have succeeded with such a formula as allowing the ideas of many to influence how they work, and they pride themselves on being one team no matter how large they grow. Monica’s Meadow is a biodiversity project that will transform a pocket of British countryside into species-rich grassland, increasing carbon capture and introducing new species or national and international importance.

Alice in Wine-derland, presented by Mother Vine in collaboration with Loire Valley Wines (representing the Loire Valley Wine region in France), as part of the annual Loire Bucket List (www.loirebucketlist.com) and in celebration of the recent opening of Mother Vine. This installation uses the iconically British Alice in Wonderland ‘Drink Me’ scene as a visual metaphor for a good wine’s capacity to transport you to a different time and place. Wine is a medium for discovery and adventure: each bottle is a portal, an expression of the unique conditions of its creation – from the nature of the Loire Valley terrain to the life of the (often ancient) vine, the heat of the sun that particular year and the ecosystem surrounding that particular vineyard. A secondary message is the importance of the Loire valley’s famous formal gardens and wildflower meadows in the creation of its iconic wines. The unique permaculture of the Loire Valley is integral to the health of the terroir, and the quality of the wines. Many Loire Valley winegrowers have specialist qualifications in sustainable viniculture and implement measures to build and maintain on-site permaculture and fauna, as well as minimising use of pesticides, recycling waste products, opting for sustainable packaging solutions and taking part in local sustainability initiatives.

Moyses Stevens have created a display on one of the most famous British icons, William Shakespeare and the imagery surrounding his plays. Although his plays and characters may have gone further afield, he is one of the most well-known British writers, and they have honoured him in their ‘Shakespeare’s Garden’
The Garden and display use all British flowers and foliage, and Moyses have drawn inspiration from the book ‘Flowers from Shakespeare’s Garden’ by Walter Carne, which illustrates the array of flowers that are mentioned in his plays. They have also appreciated the style of English country gardens in it’s wildness and texture, and have aimed to create a romantic feel.
On one side of the display, Moyses Stevens have celebrated his writing, with our floral bookcase filled with old books set behind a staircase, and on the other they have created a garden to surround Juliet’s balcony framing the most iconic Shakespeare scene. This display has been made entirely foam/oasis free with sustainability in mind.

Inspired by our Queen of Heptathlons & British Icon Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Nike’s installation celebrates her place in British sporting royalty as Heptathlon world champion.
In collaboration with Flavia studio, their contribution to Chelsea in Bloom uses seven pillars to each represent a stage in the contest, picking up on details of the event such as the lap of a running track or the bar of the high jump.
The naturally red florals are a nod to London buses, poppies & Katarina’s beloved hometown of Liverpool. Flavia studio have carefully grouped flowers within the design to ensure the sculptures are vibrant and textured. The floral sculptures have been created with a sustainable approach.
Katarina’s advice is to “make sure you love what you do” and she is keen to raise awareness and understanding of multi-events. She recently launched the KJT academy, which aims to guide aspiring athletes and give back to the community that has supported her so passionately through the years.
Nike members are invited to an exclusive evening in store, alongside the launch of their Chelsea in Bloom window installation. Their display champions British heptathlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson, who will be discussing goal setting alongside our local Nike run coach Dora. Olivia von Halle has partnered with Brighton-based florist PHOHM to create a display in celebration of the ‘Quintessentially Great British Picnic’. London parks were pioneered by Victorian Brits back in the 1800’s and picnics became a regular social occasion amongst the aristocracy. Over time, the British picnic has become a part of their shared British heritage – an iconic and longstanding tradition that has brought people together, particularly during times of celebration. Nothing unites us more than sharing food amongst family and friends and their hope is that this interactive display, with a picnic area set amongst a wildflower meadow, will invite the local community and Chelsea in Bloom visitors to do just that.
Their Installation is completely foam free and have used British grown flowers where available.
We Can Be Heroes
‘Oh you pretty things.’
Who better to say it than the legend himself, as Peloton unveil their David Bowie inspired floral design concept ‘We Can Be Heroes’ for Chelsea In Bloom’s tribute to Great British Icons.
Channelling Bowie’s imagination and flair, the design has been created for Peloton’s Kings Road Store, where the brief was simple—stun, seduce and entertain, with passers-by being invited to photograph themselves alongside their tribute to one of music’s true heroes.
Crafted from an explosion of colour, taken right out from Ziggy Stardust’s wardrobe, Peloton have their shared love of red, electric blue, vivid yellows, pinks, lilacs and greens. The concept is a beautiful extension of the cover art created for Peloton’s new Bowie Artist Series, where fans can work out to hits from four decades.
Staying true to Bowie’s authenticity they’ll be mainly using fresh flowers and plants and no dyed or preserved flowers. Exotic species like Gloriosas, Aechmeas and Passion Flower Vines create an otherworldliness that might have come straight from their icon’s imagination. Then step inside the store and your trip continues as you move around ceiling displays that pay homage to his incredible Space Oddity.
For Peloton, with music at their heart, there can be no more fitting icon than David Bowie. From teaching us to dream in technicolour to giving us the courage to reinvent ourselves, this is a British icon that they are hugely proud to honour.
The Queen takes centre stage in a cut-out mirror panel dressed with fully-preserved moss and delicate flowers. An arrangement of pillowy meadow mounds completes the interior display. Outside, a medley of moss, grasses and wildflowers cover the pavement. This is punctuated by a pair of climbing displays showcasing an array of British flowers and foliage, including zesty yellows and flashes of royal purple.

It’s all things British for Pinko this year starting with instructing a central London based floral design studio, who are passionate about the environment with ultimate focus on sustainability using only bio-degradable floral materials as their ethos. Taking inspiration from the famous pop band, ‘The Spice Girls’ as their theme, their floral display visually represents the five Spice Girls in the Pinko’s shop window in an abstract representation of the popular album cover ‘Spice Up Your Life’ depicted here. To avoid copyright issues, they will replace the images of the five Spice Girls with in-store mannequins all dressed up in the Spice Girls look whilst promoting Pinko’s latest Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Pinko’s SS22 colour palette mirrors precisely the colours worn by all five spice girls on their best-selling album cover. It’s all about bold and beautiful explosion of bright primary colours exuding optimism, prosperity, and a bright future for Great Britain. Florally adorned mannequin in-store wearing Pinko colours and a surprise outfit to boot! The window will also be framed externally with a stunning floral arch in red, white and blue colour palette representing the British flag, which tie’s in nicely with the Victoria Beckham mannequin florally fashioned in the British flag colours. The entire display will be in recyclable material focusing on sustainability with no floral foam used.
The objective is to celebrate this British Icon that brought us so much joy, happiness and fun with their talent and much-loved no.1 hit song ‘wannabe’. RIXO’s King’s Road shop windows are in full bloom, thanks to their collaboration with FLWR. Inspired by Mary Quant, RIXO x FLWR has created a cascading gypsophila floral display littered with clusters of gerberas which resemble the iconic British designer’s recognisable print.
For this year’s edition, Roger Vivier’s Sloane Street boutique will dress its windows with extraordinary flower arrangements showcasing the Maison’s unique interpretation of a most illustrious British Icon, alongside the Maison’s new Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
The Crown, a powerful symbol of the royal institution, is the emblem that Maison Roger Vivier has chosen, in a vibrant homage to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on her Platinum Jubilee. Acclaimed flower artist Phillip Corps and Gherardo Felloni, creative director of Roger Vivier, have imagined a floral replica of the Crown, made of chrysanthemum, pansies, carnations and hydrangea, among others.
Between Maison Roger Vivier and the House of Windsor, a certain closeness exists. Indeed, for her Coronation, the Queen wore a shoe model that was a one-of-a-kind creation of Monsieur Vivier. The boutique’s windows for Chelsea in Bloom, will also display the Vivier Queen sandal: a contemporary reinterpretation by Gherardo Felloni of the original model, it features a delicate fleur-de-lys motif on the front and a crystal-covered high heel.
Two centuries ago, Chelsea was a village, and it still has in many ways the feel of a village. Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity’s display, designed and created by The Landscape Gardener, the Landscaping division of the Chelsea Gardener nearby in Sydney Street, is intended to bring back some of the feel of a country garden, with its choice of plants that one might find in a cottage garden, contrasting with the architecture and urban feel of the surrounding environment. The visitor will see 250 Kings Road with the scents and blooms that might have been there 200 years earlier.
Russell & Bromley are embracing a pure and minimal theme of white blooms and fresh green foliage in their display, celebrating the floral British icons of peonies, delphiniums, ammi, solomon’s seal, ferns and ivy in abundance. Recreating their very own meadow installation throughout their windows and taking this wild and naturalistic feeling in store, Russel & Bromley will provide a calming backdrop to summer’s pops of colour and metallics that run throughout their collection. Taking pride of place, a patriotic highlight of red, white and blue very much marks the celebration of the occasion, showcasing their staple styles across both women’s and men’s footwear and bags with a colourful twist.
Salvatore’s display set up has been inspired by the print of the new Salvatore Ferragamo Resort Palm Collection.
Exotic plants such as palms, sterlitzia, bananas create a portal to get into the Ferragamo world. Painted leaves in the shades of the collection: from deep blue to light azure, from salmon to orange hues that will give a coloured and joyful touch in the store.

Recently made a Champion of the Earth by the United Nations, Sir David Attenborough’s educational work and campaigning around climate change is a call to action we can’t ignore. We admire him as a true icon: we all owe him an enormous debt of gratitude.
“If we make the right decisions at this critical moment, we can safeguard our planet’s ecosystems, its extraordinary biodiversity, and all its inhabitants. What happens next is up to every one of us.” Sir David Attenborough
Starthberry have created a Scottish woodland scene, representing our new partnership with The Prince’s Foundation and Dumfries House, in honour of Chelsea in Bloom.
This year, they really wanted to celebrate Chelsea in Bloom, and their icon, in a way that felt authentic to the whole Strathberry family. Guy and his wife Leeanne are both passionate about making decisions, where possible, that can contribute to a more positive future for all. Here, they have created a little corner of Scottish woodland in their King’s Road store, leaving them to put the majority of our intended budget into planting real woodland and vital hedgerows. This planting will take place at Dumfries House, part of The Prince’s Foundation, in south west Scotland.
Rather than use any resources on external consultants, Leeanne and Guy have worked alongside their team members to create this. This is very much a Team Strathberry labour of love. Where options (and their knowledge!) allowed, they have used trees appropriate for a Scottish woodland. They have tried to choose flowers that can be replanted, and support pollinators. Everything in this window will be planted. They just genuinely felt, and with the spirit of their icon in mind, that this was their most authentic way to celebrate Chelsea in Bloom 2022. As a way to connect their hometown to their community in Chelsea, their beautiful butterflies have been painted by classes P4 and P5 at St George’s School in Edinburgh.
Sunspel have always been inspired by the work of British Artists and Designers, leading to many collaborations. For the Chelsea in Bloom floral display they were influenced by the iconic artist, David Hockney. His use of colour and love of nature made him a great choice for a vibrant floral installation. They chose to work with Adam Shepherd, the director of Tapestry Vertical Gardens who specialises in vertical garden design. The piece will use a varied palette of evergreen and flowering plants inspired by the striking colours of Hockneys painting’s and will be displayed as a multifaceted hanging mobile.
Tateossian’s longstanding commitment to the Elton John AIDS Foundation has inspired them to dedicate their display to a true British icon, Elton John. Holding the license for Elton John jewellery, there are many cufflinks, bracelets, pins and necklaces from the collection included as part of their window display, which is completed by a beautiful floral installation inspired by his iconic star sunglasses!

The Fold’s mission is to spotlight remarkable women. For Chelsea in Bloom they are celebrating one of their own icons, Head of Design, Katya Maschenko. Katya is the Head Designer at The Fold and in her free time runs her own venture London Blooms. https://www.london-blooms.com. Katya grow the most beautiful flowers in her London garden and documents her year-round flowers in a delightful calendar and various stunning prints. Her garden is a big influence on her designs at The Fold, and her hand painted blooms can often take the form of an abstract print or inspire a seasonal colour palette within the collection. The Fold have commissioned Katya to do a floral takeover in their Chelsea store – bringing her garden and calendar to life within the store’s window and interior. Katya started gardening 7 years ago. When she purchased her current home, the garden was overgrown with brambles and weeds, and she dreamed of creating a space that would have flowers blooming throughout the year. Gardening has not only become a passion for her but a constant source of inspiration.
Organic Pharmacy have chosen the beloved character from the books to the screens, Winnie-The-Pooh for this year’s Chelsea in Bloom display. Whenever the character is mentioned no one can deny the feeling of nostalgia and comfort you experience. For years he has taught us the importance of imagination, individuality, valuing friendships and most of all HONEY!
The honey used in their products is organic. It is produced from the pollen of organically grown plants that do not have any chemicals that can harm the bees. The Organic Pharmacy have recently signed a petition calling on the government to implement a total ban on the use of neonicotinoids in the UK. These chemicals are harmful to bees causing damage their nervous system and motor function when they feed on pollen or nectar.
They believe that all honey should be organic, not contain any of these nasty chemicals and bees that should live happily and healthily which is why they feel so strongly about this petition – and are sure Winnie-The-Pooh would agree!
“A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference” – Winnie-the-Pooh

To celebrate the 2022 edition of the prestigious Chelsea in Bloom and this year’s theme ‘British Icons’ The Sloane Club and Sloane Place have chosen to pay homage to one of the most loved and respected Britons in the world – HM Queen Elizabeth II. With foundations of The Sloane Club rooted in supporting female leadership and camaraderie – it was founded in 1922 by Princess Helena for female officers of the Armed Forces – the decision was instantaneous.
Created by Chic Flower Designs, this year’s display is a floral biography dedicated to The Queen, an account of her life written in the Monarch’s favourite blooms. The profile of The Queen, covered with hydrangeas in blue – her favourite colour – takes centre stage, decorated with earrings created using her favourite flower – Lily of the Valley. The hand painted Union Jack bench and flag, made from seasonal summer bedding plants, are a nod to The Queen’s service to the country.
Visitors to The Sloane Club and Sloane Place have a chance to transform into keepers of The Queen’s peace as a Royal sentry box is placed by the entrance to The Club. Channel your inner guardsman and try on the bearskin hat carefully constructed of black pampas grass. Much of the bedding plants used in the display will find new purpose as The Sloane Club Members, now both men and women, and their guests will have a chance to purchase individual pots and proceeds will be donated to support the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

What can be more fitting than to celebrate Tiffany’s launch of Flora and Fauna modern designs, at the time when Sloane Square is teaming with all that is botanical? Taking inspiration in the unveiling of this new and exciting range in Miami, they aim to create a vibrant and modern installation around the store front, wrapping around to Sloane Square. It will be a celebration of all that is British, so they will have colourful peonies and scented garden roses growing around the store. Inside the store, colourful bouquets will be handed over to clients, and tall displays in elegant white vases with the natural and organic styling will follow throughout.
The heart and soul of Timothy Oulton’s concept comes from the influence that British heritage has on us and Timothy Oulton’s designs and is perfectly embodied through the humble passion of the English rose. This concept is amplified by their iconic “Jackdn’ brokn” sofa, their Regiment suits and side tables paired with vintage trumpets and drums as a reference to iconic British bands such as The Beatles and Queen, who are often the sound that carries through their gallery.
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band immediately came to mind for this year’s theme because of the iconic Beatles and much-imitated Peter Blake album cover featuring many icons of the time. When Vardo realised it was released 55 years ago this week (26th May 1967) they had to put their own spin on it!
Working as sustainably as possible with the amazing Athena Duncan at Rebel Rebel, they’ve created their own floral tribute to the album art, even referencing their international heritage by replacing the props in the foreground with ones representing British icons born abroad. To celebrate everyday icons, visitors can stand in behind the famous drum set and ‘be the icon,’ capturing a photo of themselves in full Sgt. Pepper regalia.
When you visit Vardo’s wonderful display, you can stand behind the famous drum set and ‘be the icon’, capturing a photo of yourself in full Sgt. Pepper regalia – they would love to see the end results so please do tag @vardorestaurant.

Wolford reinterprets the glam of ancient dresses this year! Inspired by the gilded glamour of the 1800s, Wolford’s bodysuits, stay-ups, and legwear fit right in with these icons of British fashion.
Floral decorations create the shapes of wigs, gowns and chandelier, matching with sensual iconic pieces by Wolford: this unexpected merger symbolizes the empowerment of women and the modernization of the Woman’s dress codes.
Yves Delorme have used the Queen’s Crown Jewels as inspiration by using cerise Rose’s, blue Delphinium’s, white freesias, purple Lisianthus and teal peacock feathers they have created “gems” throughout the oversized crown shaped display. Small jewel shaped boxes along the window frame contain pops of colour representing jewellery boxes of treasured gems.

Following up this year briefing of the British icons, Zadig & Voltaire have chosen to develop a concept around Shakespeare and the quotation of the flowers in his masterpieces.
They have developed the concept of the Shakespeare’s Garden with the idea to create a small indoor garden in their window. The theme of the literature is a core part of their Brand identity and they thought to merge this be in line with this year theme and to represent one of the values of ZadigetVoltaire.
The installation translates into the Zadig aesthetic of a minimal, contemporary display.
